Charli XCX Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary First Look

The Grammy-winning artist is preparing for a substantial film presence in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Within the project, she portrays what she refers to as a twisted version of herself.

It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the star commented.

She further explained in a conversation: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept stemmed from the demand to produce one.

A Glimpse into The Film

The first teaser, unveiled on this week, mixes real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined backstage scenes.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot revolves around a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices in the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.
